    DUIGUY....are you sure that DeLorey-88 is German Silver and not Silver? The color looks more like toned silver.

    Elder struck that FUGIO obverse/ CONFEDERATION reverse die pair (my # DeLorey-88) in Silver, German Silver, Copper, Brass, White Metal, Aluminum, Lead and Fibre. I'm just saying that the color of the piece looks more like toned Silver than German silver.

    A simple specific gravity test would tell. The silver should be about 10.49, the German Silver (an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc) about 8.89.
