I got this one out of one of those velvet lined aftermarket coin cases. I doubt that the grading companies would certify it, but it is toned.

I think you'd be surprised.
I, for one, definitely think that it would grade.
Very nice toning!

Send that puppy in for grading, I think it will grade and I find it very attractive. I think with a better pic it would look very nice.

If the cheek and fields are as clean as it appears in the image, I would give it a shot -- I think you have a good shot at getting it holdered.

Toning looks to be sped up. Somewhere between NT and AT. I say it'll eventually find its way into a holder. Might take a few tries.

I think it is attractive and would probably holder- the toning looks natural to me.

I have one a little similiar in an ICG holder. Was wondering how it got the speckled look.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

That should definitely grade. I own a few just like it that are most certainly not AT. I can imagine how it looks in hand, and I bet it is quite beautiful. Pretty toned peace dollars are quite a rare find. Enjoy it.

Not that it matters much I guess, but the coin is a 1922-D. The D is pretty well hidden in the toning.
