Any bat experts out there?

Bought a bat today at a car show swap meet-

BA33-"the Joe Diamaggio line"for Hillcrest sporting goods, New York NY.......Brooks Robinson on the barrell of bat

bat is in pretty bad shape-piece missing on knob and plenty of use on barrell.
I collect Brooks, mostly cards and other stuff...this is the first bat I have ever bought in all of my years of collecting......so the question is....WHAT IS IT WORTH?
Just like everyone else looking for a "flea market find"!
Thanks Scott

    Hi Scott,

I believe the bat in question is a kid's bat circa mid-late 70's.

    Value: $50 in mint condition.
Value: $5-$8 in your described condition.

Without seeing a pic, it's tough to be sure.

I'd believe it was well earlier to 'mid to late 1970's' although I would estimate the value a little higher at $20-$25 (agreeably, it's tough to judge without a picture)....

I wil try to post a pix next week-it looks "old"--nice patina...my guess is 1965 to 1973...dont know why,but that would be my guess......I could not find any Dimaggio bats/hillcrest on ebay... thought that was a little strange
