I'll post the results later.
Here are some images of a Jefferson Nickel. The first UNUM is Doubled on the reverse, The second RICA is shown, but AMERICA is doubled on the reverse. The third shows the S in TRUST on the Obverse. Lastly a close up of the double portion of the S.

<< <i>Here is a hint. Neither is correct, but there is something right from each of you so far. >>
I'm just going to boost this because I have a feeling a Jefferson expert will know the answer without guessing. There must be something (die polish lines) to identify the year

<< <i>I feel I should know this and I don't. I want to guess that it is a pre-WWII proof because of the S in TRUST, I think that is master hub doubling from that era. But based on the reverse I'll guess instead that it is a 1957 proof.

Another partialy right answer.
TwoSides2aCoin guess 1945 P Close it is a War Nickel.
Top50SetBuilder quess 1955 Proof Close it is a Proof
Sean, your guess started out with Pre WWII again close, then you shift to another Proof year.

I had no idea such a nice doubled die existed on the 1942 proofs, thanks for sharing the pictures. Did you cherrypick the DDR or buy the coin attributed?
