I'm not looking to crown Penn State #1 just yet, but this is a very good football team.

We Are..Penn State

no dispute that they are now a top 5 team and likely higher

The weekend losses of so many highly ranked teams sets up nicely for them. OSU looked pathetic against a below average Purdue team with the offense only scoring one TD, Northwestern was finally outed, as was Illinois and well what can you say about RichRod and Michigan after losing to one of the worst teams in the MAC. MSU is overdue for their late season collapse so its not a stretch to see them in the BCS game.

Penn State seems to be a lock for the RoseBowl, AT A MINIMUM, unless OSU and MSU are better than we think. I believe Penn State has a date in Columbus later this month.

Will Penn St be playing us anytime soon?

    Sincerely,
    Teams in the Top 15
  • Daryll Clark is the man. Evan Royster is a beast. Navorro Bowman's a tackling machine.

Michigan's going to get the crap kicked out of them. GO NITS!
  • Thought the Badgers were going to make a game of it. Ended up watching the Ok V Mizz game, which was at least a game.

Doesn't matter when FSU won't break the Top 15 this year.

  • Penn State should really be tested when they play away at tOSU and Iowa in consecutive games.
I believe Iowa is leading the nation in lowest points allowed per game.

Those two teams better improve a whole lot very quickly.

Let's see what happens this weekend. Michigan has been Kryptonite for Penn State in the past. If there's ever a year to beat Michigan, this is it. If they don't, they're just cursed.

I'm a Buckeyes fan, and Penn State scares me this year... but all is right with the world with Michigan stinking up the joint! lol

As a Blue fan, all I can say is that there's no chance in hell that Michigan can beat PSU this weekend. Even if their D decides to play a full game, PSU only needs a field goal to outscore Michigans O image

They're pretty good, at least until they lose to Ohio State.

They've never beaten the Buckeyes in Columbus since joining the Big Ten and have never scored more than 10 points there. Methinks Terrelle Pryor and the Gang will have a little pre-Halloween tricks served up on JoePoop.

At least that's what Champ Kind tells me.

I could care less about the Big 10, but that linebacker and captain of Penn State's defense is a great team leader.
I think they can win out and play for the national championship. That is not easy.

Penn State has a decent shot... I think they beat Ohio State. The real game for Penn State this year is the last one on the schedule. I think Michigan State is the remainining sleeper that could end their dream.

Still early in the game, but so far Michigan IS still Kryptonite to PSU, leading 17-7 in the second quarter. Somehow either Michigan's kids are inspired by recent history of weaker Michigan teams knocking off a highly rated PSU squad, or PSU is just convinced they can't beat Michigan and fold.

Okay, maybe not this time -- looks like PSU decided to realize they are a much better football team.
