Today's Coin Show Purchase - 1904 Canadian Cent

I needed one of these for my type set, but I think this would also be a fun series to collect. This one is in a PCGS MS64BN holder.

nice coin... the color difference between the obverse and reverse seems quite striking

    That's a sweet looking Edward!
They’re a great series to collect. All the Canadian large cents are reasonably easy to acquire
and not too expensive if you're willing to accept XF or better condition, though collecting them
in 63+ would probably be quite a challenge and set you back a bit.

Thanks, coinkat. The differences really appealed to me, but the obverse color and luster were immediate eye grabbers.

Thanks, Joe. The Edward VII cents would be a great start. A short series and only one key date.

    Joe,
    That isn't strictly correct.The 1858 1c. is a very scarce coin,as is some varieties of the 1859 1c. coin.

    Bill,
You've got one very nice coin.

From the image, I think that coin is RB and not BN.
