IHC Book

I've recently become enamored with the IHC. Can someone suggest a good book on them? Any good online references?

  • Yes, get Rick Snow's book on Flying Eagle and Indian Head cents. I recall reading somewhere that Snow is finishing a second edition of this book, so you might want to want until the new edition is published.

I agree with Lakesamman. I have Rick Snow's A Guide Book of Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents, and I would recommend it for a date-by-date analysis. There is also some interesting historical information included in the book.

Here's a guest column by Rick Snow, from The Whitman Review:

"Beware Fake Eagles and Altered Indians"

If this information is interesting and useful for your collecting, then Snow's Guide Book of Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents is highly recommended.
