$$$$$$$$$$$ TRIVIA CONTEST $$$$$$$$$$$$

We wanted to try and find a way to get people involved in the site and have some fun. So, we came up with our first Trivia Contest. Here is your chance to win a $50 shopping spree on SportsWanted.com. We will give you $50 to spend however you want. All you have to do is send in your answer.

Since we are based out of St. Louis our first trivia question is a home town question:

How many professional sports teams have played in St. Louis?

Send your answer to allen@sportswanted.com. Your email must list all the professional sports teams that have played in St. Louis. GOOD LUCK!!

The rules are simple. Only 1 entry per email address. All entries must be received by Monday October 13, 2008 by 5:00 p.m. central standard time. All entries must include proper contact information. All entries with the correct answer will be placed into a random drawing and the winner of the $50 shopping spree will be announced Monday evening by email

  • 0 - They're all amateurs.

Edit: By the way, the answer could be in the hundreds. You said how many have played in STL. That includes any team that plays an away game there.
  • Very funny!! Go ahead and kick us while we're down!!

Thanks for not only pointing out we are having a bad year in sports but also pointing out the trivia question has a loop hole. You're right... Technically there could be hundreds of teams that have come through St. Louis and played professionally. However the question was how many professional sports teams played in St. Louis meaning for St. Louis.

I have to double check but I believe there are already a couple of correct answers sent in. Thanks for all the replies so far and good luck everybody!!

<<< All entries with the correct answer will be placed into a random drawing >>>

Every trade show I've ever done and been involved in with a company, I guess around ten of them, you know the ones where at a vendor booth you place your business card in the bin with the message about a prize drawing. Well, in every one, the boss just happened to announce that the "prize" went to the biggest customer or the best prospect whose card was in the bin - Wasn't that a coincidence? LOL
