<< <i>There are so many poor businessmen on this board it amazes me. Like the guy in another thread who doesn't seem to understand fundamentals about running a business. I suggest to these people buying some books on how to properly run a business and treat your customers.

So your customer paid you a bit late, so the heck what! Give the customer positive feedback and appreciate the fact that he is a customer and you made some money off him. >>

In a nutshell Steve. image >>

FEEDBACK IS OPTIONAL. If a buyer cannot follow the terms of the auction he does not deserve feedback nor does he allow need to be on Ebay. Maybe there needs to be a new book about how to run a business in the way Ebay is forcing sellers to. NO REAL BUSINESS WOULD ENDURE THE ABUSE EBAY IS ALLOWING THEIR SELLERS TO ENDURE FROM CUSTOMERS. >>

I understand your point, but it is up to a businessman to adjust to an ever changing marketplace. The "competition' isn't ebay...the competition is other businesses.

Do I like some of the new crap from ebay...of course not, but ebay is just a tool for selling products as far as a seller is concerned. Whatever rules ebay puts in place, it's up to the businessman to adapt and make the best of it from these new rules, and present their products in the optimum way to attract customers and profit. If ebay states after each sale, I've got to kiss Rosie O'Donnell's bare arse, then I either make the choice of selling on ebay or not, and yes some of this crap from ebay is like figuratively kissing Rosie O'Donnell's bare arse - but you either take it or leave it, and so far for the most part I'm taking it because, well..in my view there's really no where else to go to achieve better profits and exposure than ebay, and it's not even close.

Yes, we can have our own website, or use the "CU forum spammer" Sportswanted or something like that, but it's all not even close to the exposure that ebay offers. Bend over Rosie, I'm puckering up again.
