Here is a newp that I really like:
This was engraved on a 50 Centimes piece. The Royal Flying Corp (RFC) was the over land arm of the British armed forces in WWI. There was also the Royal Naval Air Services which was the over water arm. In 1918, they merged into the Royal Air Force (RAF). I've seen a few similar RFC pieces, but they are by no means common.

I might have already shown you this one I bought in Charlotte early last year, and subsequently sold here.
Of course it isn't as impressive from an engraving standpoint. It was done on a 2-franc piece, though, and I thought it was neat.
