For a registry? I would, why not? Many would enjoy viewing it. Buuuut maybe for high dollar ones- watermark them to prevent people from acting like they own your cards and try to sell the scan on ebay.
I just started a couple set registries, and I decided to post my pics. I like being able to pull up my collection from any computer to look at it. My opinion.
i sure wish i started doing it before i got over 200 cards..lol i think im going to spend a few days doing it..do people really look at them, other than us the collector? don

I can't tell you how many times I've found someone else's picture to be immensely useful to me in my search for oddball cards. I try to return the favor whenever I can by scanning my cards too.
I always put pics up of graded and ungraded cards for my master sets. On another note, what is the trick to putting scans on you registry? I tried but I get nothing. Do they have to be a certain size? 2000 CE Supreme Update #5
i like scanning the registry to check out the pictures, there are abundantly beautiful collections......and every now and then i stumble across a card i sold.

I think there is a 100KB limit. Also they can not have anything like a "#" or a "*" in them.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
i put em of mine, but i dont have no sets right now lol my 50 bowman fb is retired though so whoever bought it would be drove nuts with 144 cert #'s that wont work like some people do ya when ya get a card, thats annoying
I would be happy if I could just add cards that I own to my sets. I have slabs that need to be deleted from other peoples sets. After sending 4 requests to PSA with scans of the fronts and backs, I gave up. So now I dont really participate in the registry. I used to use the registry as an inventory checklist for my collection, but seeing that I cant add all of my cards to it, I really dont have a use for it anymore.
i just starting working on my 52 topps basic with autos, alot has changed since last year -took me 45 minutes to figure out how to make a set- put the #s in ,and pics lol-i like it though-just take me some getting used to again- id make a link to my set- but its so far down right now, i dont even think you can see it 52 basic goes 1-92 people- so im under that till i get about 100 of these autos slabbed with grade anyways
i think pics with sets are great- if u dont have pics, all i see is noning and #'s,that not real impressive, when i was doing the 50 bowman fb set- i had all pics up- #1 dude dedont even have a pic, just #'s- i cant look at #'s and say im impressesed much, even if its been the #1 set forever
wow, for some reason i have not been able to post for a few days.( keeps saying something failed to open) anyway i have tried to upload my scans, and they will not show up..even loaded them up and had them hosted.. still no workie.. don

To me having an online set with no pics is like buying a playboy mag that has nothing but words........it's just plain boring.
*Not that I buy playboy mags but even if I did, it would just be for the articles.

I had no idea what a 1964 Topps Photo Tattoos Red Triangle Mickey Mantle looked like until
I viewed one on the registry.
All of mine have pics and many have comments.
