Request information for a token

A newP. If possible, can anyone give me some background info about this token? Appreciate that.

  • I believe this is a 2 Liards of Bouillon & Sedan. No date, but early 1600's. KM 13?
  • Thanks. DCH. I really appreciate your help. I have checked all available Bouillon & Sedan on google and my is different from those. Could it be a fake?

I wouldn't have thought these would be worth faking. Remember that coin production back then was a lot more variable than today; unless coins were struck by the exact same dies, you'd expect to see minor variations.

This one on CoinArchives is similar, but not quite the same; this one is dated, and listed in the Krause catalogue as KM# 12.3; yours is undated, and listed as KM# 13. The ruler named and portrayed on the coin is Henri de la Tour, who ruled that territory from 1591 to 1623.
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.

Apparently I have been awarded the DPOTD twice. B)
