DIFFERENT FONTS ON PSA LABELS?

Scrolling through Ebay last night, I noticed a few cards with different style fonts on the PSA labels. They were mostly on the older cards (pre-1990). Did the company switch fonts at some point? I checked the cert numbers and they popped up. Just wondering. I tried searching the forums, but came up empty.

Thanks,
Kevin

I believe there have been 4 or more different labels used by PSA. I am not sure on the exact years, but I know the first ones that PSA used had a slash mark through the zeros. There is also a label that you can see where the red boarder has rounded corners instead of squared corners on the front. I believe that was like the third or so type label used. It would be nice if PSA would post a little article on the labels used and for what years they were used.
  • Thanks. The font with slashed zeros is the one I saw. The letters seemed to be longer also. I'm just worried about buying counterfiets or altered labels.

    Good question.

I would love an expert or PSA representative to give us the detailed answer.
