Coin Store policy question...
This sounds pretty negative to me. I want to buy a coin from them but it looks like it might be a week before I will even see the coin. Am I off-base on this? This does not sound like a customer service oriented business to me. It sounds like they have too much business and are trying to reduce it.
Their business, they can run it any way they want. But I see PLENTY of coin shops that photograph ALL coins and respond to emails usually within hours. 4 -7 days?
"
Please note:
emails: we receive hundreds of emails. we make every effort to answer requests but often run 4-7 days behind. if you wish immediate contact we recommend calling xxx-xxx-xxxx.
images: we have more coins than time to photograph. we take pictures of requested coins most weekends and email images early in the week. if you wish to see a coin you need to notify us by wed to allow us time to pull from bank vault.

Depending how tough the coin is that you're looking at it, it might be worthwhile to wait. If not, move on.

They seem to have laid out their normal policy clearly and a contact number if this policy did not fit within your parameters so they could accomodate you..... cut the poor guy some slack,,,
If the seller has a coin I want, then its off to the telephone to verify and validate especially when they are upfront with being 4-7 behind on emails. Even though our society has become heavily reliant upon electronic mail systems, those same systems have some serious flaws which can be totally eliminated via a simple telephone call.
I don;t think it sounds negative as much as it sounds realistic.

You might have to actually expend smoe effort & move more than your mouse finger to get that coin if you really want it.
