Ok, so I just won my first ever lot from Heritage last Tuesday in one of their Tuesday/Sunday auctions.
I proceed to the checkout and pay with my payment choice without any problems.
I scroll down to just check that all my other information is correct (such as shipping address).
I notice that Heritage has my information from my old living addres (I guess I had to put this in when I first registered with them?)
I immediately proceed to change the old address to my new current address. In no time, it is changed and my purchase/checkout is complete (or so I think).
I received an email last night telling my that they have shipped my coin to me, along with tracking number and all. (I'm tired and the small print email doesn't help)
As I scroll precariously to look at the information they sent me in the letter, I notice that they are shipping the coin to me with my old address.
I'm just like

Since it was too late yesterday to call them about this, and it's too early now to call, I thought I might ask the board here first on what to do.
Oh, and since they already mailed the package to me at my old address, do you think I will ever see the coin I bought?

<< <i>I bought a coin from Heritage a while back through ebay live auction. They have my current address and I have received many lots shipped correctly bought through their website They sent the coin I bought through ebay to an address I haven't used with them for over 10 years. It was an expensive coin (a PCGSMoffat $5, boy do I miss that coin) so it required a signature and it went back to Heritage and alls well that ends well but think if it would have been one of those packages they have the postman scan and leave at the door, Merry Christmas to someone. >>
Yes, it is important to purge all old addresses out of all accounts. I changed my bank addresses for my business account to my business mailbox after I got it but they still sent my personal account statement to my home. I didn't think about that until once I wired about $30k to a seller for a batch of coins. I e-mailed him my address and didn't worry about it. A couple days later I got home and an 11 year old kid from two doors down rode up on his bike and handed me a box his mom had signed for. It was the coins. Of course he and she still have no idea what they were handling. The seller had just automaticly shipped to the address on the wire and for some reason my bank chose my home address. My bank no longer has my home address anywhere in their system.

The good thing here is that it's headed to family and not a random stranger!!!
I'll just have my parents forward it to me when it arrives. This still really gets me PO-ed.
