Most of the ones I've seen are so cleaned and burned out that they look like they could be fake at first glance, but yours looks great. Congrats!

Some collectors can search a life time for an original 06-S with nice eye appeal and never find one.

I think you've done well! image

Did you buy it PCGS slabbed, was it crossed, or did you submit it raw?

    A nice one!

I like the 1903 to 1906 dates better than the 1907 to 1912 dates. But for no reason other than they're larger.

    1903-1906 Peso = 26.95g .900 silver .78 oz

    1907-1912 Peso = 20g .800 silver .5144 oz
I collect history in the form of coins.
  • A stunning example of that date - Very nice

Great coin! I like the surfaces on that one.
  • What's the grade? AU55?

Whatever it is, it is nice.image

I agree, I have been waiting for a long time myself and was fortunate to get this nice 06-S peso already in PCGS slabbed.

Believe it or not, it is PCGS AU53.
