Interesting error coin. Not sure of rarity or value...any info? Pretty cool dime.

There's a difference between quarter planchet and quarter stock. I think this error is probably worth about $20, but that's just a guess.

It wasn't struck on a quarter planchet as that would be impossible.

Usually it is the other way around (quarter struck on dime stock).

I think yours is worth closer to $75.00.
