Irritating sellers:

post a lame, miniscule image.

give us, the viewer, the option to see a larger image, and it stays the same size.

show an obverse but no reverse.

give us no description with regard to color, luster or marks. It's the old "the photo speaks for itself" nonsense. Well, guess what; the photo hardly ever speaks for itself.

proudly proclaim "NO PAYPAL." Ok great, they don't like the PayPal fees. Good for them, and I move on to another seller.

not knowing if their coin is a 1916 or 1917 T1 SLQ.

tell us why they are selling their coins. Who cares?

make us scroll 5 miles down the page to see information relevant to their coins.

mix in the coin's description with their tedious biography and economic/investment sales pitch.

answer "questions from sellers" with vague one-word answers. Basically, the answers indicate that the seller can't be bothered with "annoying" questions. Now to be fair, potential buyers often do ask ridiculous questions, but sometimes the questions are very important.

Have 4,000+ feedback, are forum members with 10,000+ posts, and in response to a request by a potential buyer for better pics respond for the world to see that "Their camera can't take closer pics"....image

Putting all those "listing techniques" in one spot makes me wonder if some of these sellers aren't legislators.
  • Terms and Conditions that go on and on for 100+ lines always ending with a big disclaimer in fine print at the end.
    Trustworthy BST sellers: cucamongacoin
  • HUGE... ESTATE....sale. Like, that makes them worth more HOW?
