Turn it over. What happens when any and all of us owe money? What happens if we are LATE in making payment?
If you are 100% POSITIVE that in no way have you violated ANY of the small print, then what you "do" and how far you are willing to go with it, is entirely your choice and ultimately, your decision.
If you happen to have documented the Name of the person you actually spoke with, the date, the time, the number and extension - if you have NOT violated the fine print in any way & can PROVE that you were definitely told you are definitely entitled to $700 (or thereabout) then keep pushing the envelope till you force them to come across.
At this point you may well consider legal counsel.
After hammering MS live search with e-mails I finally received a reply back. Why would it matter what my "preferred purchases" were ???
"Hello ******, I apologize for the delayed reply. I have once again forwarded your claim to our loss prevention department with the hope that you will receive the answers you seek. In researching your issue I can see that currency is your preferred purchase. Please understand that Microsoft does not voluntarily cancel any cashback purchases. All cancellations are initiated by the selling merchant. When Microsoft receives the notice that a purchase does not qualify for cashback, the cancellation is automatic. Also, the cashback program is a free service where Microsoft pays you, the consumer for using our search engine. If eBay decides to approve your purchases, Microsoft will gladly pay you.
Thank you, Ron E. Senior Manager Live Search cashback Customer Support"
After reading "All cancellations are initiated by the selling merchant" in the above posted e-mail I decided to give eBay a call on the 16th. She said the purchases were marked as not qualifying for cashback but could not tell me why. She then told me it was out of her hands but she would forward the info to the person who deals with the cashback offers and that he would give me a call. This morning I turn on my computer and I've got mail ! The $720.00 has been posted to my paypal account. Now lets see if I can withdrawal it
I'm glad this 5 month drama filled ordeal is finally over (fingers crossed). Good luck to everyone else on getting their cashback and maybe some of the posts here can be of some help to others that might encounter a problem.

I can't figure that one out
(she was never "robbed" as there were problems with the whole thing and "robbed" would mean taking money away from someone anyway)
Glad it seems resolved
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Yes I should have edited the title, all better now
