There has been no interest yet to create a stable season thread for the G-men. HERE IT IS

Eli Manning was nearly perfect today in the complete dismantling of the Seahawks. No Plax equaled no problem as Eli threw to everybody and anybody with hands that legally could catch a NFL pass.

The Giants ground game was crushing.

A few notes.

1. Eli Manning is without a doubt one of the elite QB's in the NFL now.
2. There is no reason to get too excited as the NFC East is dangerous all around.
3. I have NEVER seen a defending Super Bowl Champion fly as far under the radar as this team
4. Brandon Jacobs is the real deal.
5. We might as well thank Plax as the emergence of Dominek Hixon will be a huge benefit

    I could not agree more. The Giants are JUST 4-0. Why is the media so fooking stupid? Thhis idiotic way of observing early season NFL almost has me HOPING for a loss soon. That is bad. The media is just plain STUPID.

    I'll tell you what - this team looks razor sharp. Offensive weapons galore and a solid defense which should get better as the season goes on.

    Softy, I think Favre's arrival in NY has taken ALL of the spotlight off of the Giants. Eli couldn't have asked for anything better.

    Once Eli got some confidence and the team to quit snarking on him (thinks Tiki, it's about the only thing you did right for the team was to get them to rally behind Eli) he has taken off. You can't make someone have confidence but Eli has always had talent. Anyone think Rivers still will have a better career?

    A year ago from today it would have been no question Rivers will have the better career... things change quickly in the NFL. we will see where the chips fall in the coming years. Both look good.

    Let me just point out that Eli Manning already has a SUPER BOWL RING and has led the Giants to a incredible win streak on the road.

    The Redskins just opened up a huge door by losing in tough fashion to the hapless Rams. The ONUS is on the G-men to get to 5-0 tomorrow night in Cleveland given how tough the schedule gets in a few weeks. image

    That did suck. If the Cowboys play like they did today next week against the Bucs, it's gonna be about 56-3 Bucs.

    I'm not looking foward to it. It seems the season is fading....fast!

    yeah, and you mean the majority of the FANS gut. Tom C. has / had personal ties to Wellington Mara and came up with the Parcells regime. He was never in as bad as shape as the media likes to portray in this neck of the woods.

    Tough game against the vaunted Raven's "D" this Sunday. I am really interested to see if the #1 NFL rushing attack can do a number against the best run defense in the game.

    Ravens D is nice, but that offense is sometimes stagnant. The rest of the NFC needs help to catch the G men, but this aint the kinda help we were hoping for.

    The G Men do have a solid squad and look well enough to repeat as Champs, I am rooting against them ofcourse but so far it looks like they have the best team next to Tennessee.

    My fingers are crossed that the Giants stay relatively healthy AND have a shot at securing home field. The most amazing part of the Giants run last year was the unreal performance on the road week after week. To get playoff games at Giants Stadium in the cold with their rushing attack would be damn skippy.

    and the Giants hang another 200 PLUS rushing number on the opponent. So much for the NFL's # 1 defense against the run. Also, the G-men did not use Jacobs in the second half. I doubt he was hurt as he was standing on the sidelines with helmet the whole second half.

    This Giants team rivals any that I've ever seen. Incredible offensive machine that can move the ball with so many different weapons and a menacing defense to boot. There are very few weaknesses if any that I can see.

    I think the Giants are better than Tenn. The Super Bowl is thiers unless they beat themselves -- which appears unlikely at this point.

    The Giants could use January home games. NOONE can expect them to duplicate last years road dominance.

    Knee is fine. No damage to cartilage or ligs. He just wacked it good being tackled. Giants may have to go with Ward and Bradshaw vs Cards. Nothing wrong with that image

    Amid the Plaxico debacle the Giants became just the second team in NFL history to defeat six straight teams with above .500 records.
