I was too young to remember the Brooklyn Dodgers, But I think I would have liked that team.

I've never liked the Los Angeles Dodgers at all for a variety of reasons - obviously being a competitor to the Phillies has something to do with it, but I think it's the Hollywood type connection, like they think they're better than everybody else with the pompous attitude, that makes them dislikable.

like Tommy Lasorda and his "Dodger blue" crap he always used to expound - It was tiring hearing that all the time.

I can understand how you wouldn't have liked the Dodgers being a Phillie fan, but I can't recall the Dodgers thought they were better than everyone / Hollywood thing you mentioned.

Yes Tommy did over do his Dodger Blue speaches over the years. lol

    Lastly SteveK,

How dare you come into a thread that has nothing to do with you or the Sillies and start smack talking about the Dodgers. Just kidding Steve.

I thought the center of the universe revolved around Philadelphia? image

Besides I believe WinPitcher in another thread mentioned his interest in the NY - Dodgers connection so my comments were a takeoff on that - Which goes to show how old WinPitcher must be...I'm guessing he's probably 90 something years old at the least. But at least he's not as old as Grote15 who has stated he was a kid when Old Judge cards were produced.
