I have a total of 126 auctions on eBay this week and will be putting hundreds more before October 15th. This week's auctions close on Sunday, October 5, 2008 and include the following:
1970's Discs:
22 – 1976 Carousel Snack Bar Discs in PSA 8, 9, and 10. This is a tough issue. PSA has only graded 92 of these discs - TOTAL! Even though I'm running some PSA 8's and 9's, in most cases these are the highest graded examples and/or have populations less than three. In many cases, I'm running 1 of 1's or 1 of 2's. Don't be fooled just because they are discs and think they are easy.
36 – 1976 Crane Potato Chips Discs in PSA 9 and 10. This constitutes nearly half and set and 34 of them are PSA 10's!
I've got a great selection of stars and HOF'ers up that post people will need for their master player sets including Johnny Bench, Steve Carlton, Catfish Hunter, Reggie Jackson, Joe, Morgan, Thurman Munson, Jim Palmer, Tony Perez, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Nolan Ryan, Mike Schmidt, Tom Seaver, Willie Stargell, and Don Sutton. If you have been thinking about completing a disc set or want to complete your player set, now would be a great time!
Baseball Cards:
20 – 1977 Topps in PSA 8 and PSA 9. There are some tougher cards up for auction as well as the Strikeout Leaders (Ryan/Seaver) and Johnny Bench.
Basketball Cards:
28 – 1976-77 Topps in PSA 8 and PSA 9. I've started most the 8's off at only $3.99 and most of the 9's off at $9.99. There are a number of stars/HOF'ers the lot including Calvin Murphy, Rick Barry, David Thompson (Rookie Card), Elvin Hayes, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pete Maravich, and Bob McAdoo. In addition, there are a couple lower population cards.
