Who can figure it?, the economy is in the toilet in Michigan. This is one of the worse teams in the NFL and have been for many years yet they will have their 50th consecutive sellout of Ford Field for this Sunday. OK, there will probably be a few no shows but the game is still a sellout.

When the Packers came to town, a local businessman in the Detroit area had to buy up a bunch of tickets to ensure the sellout so that it would be broadcast on TV. He gave them away with the purchase of furniture from his store. That helped keep the streak alive...
Matt Millen being gone will eventually help that place sell out for real in the future (when they bring in a replacement who actually knows something about being a GM)
