How would you describe the toning on this Morgan?

I have this generic Morgan with some interesting toning.
I was with a friend at coin show and saw one like it. He thought this type of toning develops after a cleaning.
My image doesn't capture the even luster which is seen just in spots on the obverse and reverse.
What say you experts.

I've seen toning practically identical to this on coins that sat in Littleton manila envelopes for a number of years. About a year ago, I purchased an estate collection that had been untouched since the early 70's. There were 20-25 Morgans in these Littleton envelopes - all common dates, all slider Uncs - that were toned just like this.
