Two Liteside early half dollars, both with edge lettering errors.

    1827/6, O-101, R-2, VG.
Nice dark grey original toning with "CircCam" contrast. Attributed as O-101, R-2 on the flip I received
it in, which also says "Ex-ANACS VG10", though no insert was included. I personally would not grade
it quite so high, though I don't think VG8 is too much of a stretch. The edge reads, "FIFTY CENTSALF
A DOLLAR", and the word spacing is rather dramatically off.
$85 postpaid insured, or swap for some other 19th century type coin I need. SALE PENDING

    1829, XF.
Nice grey toning, which I would swear was totally original, based on the obverse. However,
the reverse color is a bit different, which leads me to suspect it has been played with a little
bit in the past (i.e., lightly cleaned on that side, for some reason-perhaps an old pencil eraser
job which has partially retoned over time). Nevertheless, this is a handsome
coin, and another with an edge error: this one reads, "FIFTY CENTS OR LF A DOLLAR".
The spacing seems to be off, and no, the missing "HA" was not obliterated by a rim
hit or other damage- the edge is perfectly intact and well-defined in that area.
$165.00 postpaid insured, or swap for some other 19th century type coin I need. SALE PENDING

For eighteen dollars postpaid, you can have all twenty of the coins I posted above, OR... you can have this pair of WWI-era lovelies. image

The first is an AU58 1915 French 10-centime piece and the second an MS63 to MS64 1918-D silver Imperial German half-mark with great toning and a die crack running right through the mintmark. This way you can have two opposing sides, if you think about the World War I aspect of these coins' history.

The images were done on a scanner, so the glossy surfaces of the French coin and the brilliant luster of the German coin do not show in the pictures. (The French piece is also just the slightest bit darker brown in hand).

    image

    image

(Sold separately, I would want $8 for the French piece or $10 for the German.)

Here is a wonderful book that should be a welcome addition to any collector, especially one that collects numismatic related books.

Printed in 1884, 'The Current Gold and Silver Coins of All Nations' is a wonderfully written piece that must have been one of "the" books to own from this era. With tons of carefully drawn pictures of the world's silver and gold coins, it outlines everything in detail by country. As expected, it highlights a good portion to US coins. I'm especially fascinated with a chapter at the end that highlights the recent US coin auctions and their results. If we could only buy them for those prices today!

The spine is coming apart, and some of the pages are starting to come loose, something that could be remedied with a bit of restoration.

All in all, a wonderful book that was painstakingly written and illustrated by some true numismatists of their day.

Interesting Lot of 75 Uncleaned and Semi-Cleaned later Roman Bronzes at a bargain price. Coins have been soaked in DW (distilled
water) for a couple of months. This lot would be a great coin project for the winter, as many of the coins will end up being
VF or better when properly cleaned. All exhibit details already, and some just need simple detail cleaning. Unpicked by me,
there may be scarce or rare coins included. See the scan. Various sizes, emperors, and reverse types. May include Byzantine
and Roman Provincials, and perhaps a Greek or two. Detailed cleaning instructions sent with order! Much better than the dreck
    being sold on eBay...

$130.00 FIRM, which works out to less than $1.75 per coin.

...lot of 80+ coins from France in 2X2's. From early 1900's on up. A nice lot. I'm sick of looking at them. $20 + actual shipping costs. PM me if interested.

1903 Philippines ½ centavo, NGC MS65 RB (red/brown)...has a small amount of toning that probably bumped it out of the red range. Pretty coin with lots of lustre - $75.00 delivered
