The colors look a little funky on all three. Do these coins look like this in hand?
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

The first one looks pretty typical to me.

The last two look cleaned to me.

Having had a cleaned indian in my indian head Dansco...I do not like the look of a cleaned coin next to the original ones.

  • The '59 is VF, I'd guess an ok piece, but unfortunatly the '61 and '62 are cleaned. I'd pass on the lot and find a better specimen. This shouldn't be any coin you'd have to scrimp on...they're plentiful in their original state and no wallet-buster.
    Oh boy...this could be a bad thing.........image

    Hey holeinone,
The colors on the 61 and 62 show obvious dipping/cleaning, but the
59 looks off to me also. Maybe not from a dip but maybe from a soap and water job.
With better pics I bet the 59 shows other problems also if the coin looks that color.
I would pass on all three.

The last two are without question previously dipped and/or cleaned.

If I recall, the seller "Ernie" does not have a good reputation here and sells a lot of cleaned coinage.
