<< <i>Sorry, but I have a hard time respecting a "Christian" who doesn't think $30 million dollars in 3 years is enough. >>
LOL.
Reminds me of my old minister. The guy wore custom suits and went out to play golf 3 times a week, and went out to eat 5 times a week and then came to church and talked about sacrifice, and how we have to give more money to support the cause.
My hard earned money, earned from working everyday went into his pocket to support his leisure lifestyle.
JD DREW has as much talent as anyone who ever put on a uniform and the work ethic to go along with it. No need to be a "hater" just because he hit a game winning "tater".
<< <i>If you truly think Drew is worth his contract because of one hit in a playoff series then you deserve to pay him. >>
I dont know why your talking about his contract? That is a non issue, EVERYONE knows we overpaid him and everyone knows we are not happy about it.
Regardless he has produced more than just "one hit" incase you forgot he did hit a key grand slam last year when our backs were up against the wall against the Tribe. We "deserve" these type of hits because of the money we are paying him.
Anyone know what a BGS 9.5 Leaf Rookies and Stars Drew would sell for currently?

Are you kidding me? Is there a single person out there on these boards that would take $20mm a season to play baseball then get to October and the playoffs, and....
BOSTON (AP)—J.D. Drew, who hit the decisive home run for Boston in the second game of the playoff series against the Los Angeles Angels, was not in the lineup for Game 3 on Sunday night because of his ailing back.
Red Sox third baseman Mike Lowell returned to the lineup after missing Game 2 with a hip injury. But Drew, who did not play from Aug. 17 until Sept. 24, was given a day off to rest after playing two games in three days.
The Red Sox tried for a sweep Sunday night.
“J.D. is physically doing pretty well,” Boston manager Terry Francona said. “I know normally you get to this time of year and you send eight or nine guys out there and just stay with it. I don’t know that, the way we’re built right now, that’s the best way to do it.”

This is just in, JD Drew's agent is not good.
<< <i>Wow, lawnmowerman, didn't see that coming. Excuse me. >>
I don't get it? I wasn't being rude.
Sorry it sounded that way but that was not my intention. I was just asking a question.
