Opinions please
I have had this coin for months and took a few quickies tonight (bored again on a Friday night
).
Let me know what you think of it..........good, bad, grade or whatever!
BTW, there is some schmutz on the holder and thanks in advance.

One of these days I will get a nice one or two. Currently the best I have had was a mere PCGS XF45.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

<< <i>Strike is a little mushy. It appears to be a scan, and I'm betting there is more luster than the scans show. Grade.....AU-53.

<< <i>Will adjusting the depth of field or aperture setting help get the coins mushy apearance gone? I am working on my little camera set up also but get discouraged easily with it. >>
Boy I relate to that.
I was in the dumps about my images and recently shot one coin at various focal lengths, ISO settings, Exposure settings (+/-) , lights (# & angle & type) until I had a shot I was happy with. Many members are extremly gifted at coin photography so it's easy to get intimidated.
On the other hand, the finest photographers on this board are really good at sharing advice and encouragement.

I know how hard it is to find a truly awesome FE cent.
I guess the grade of XF45, but I don't really like to grade from photos.
I'm estimating au58

YUP!
Those scratches are on the coin.
I'll re-image it later.
Thanks again,
