Question for Ike lovers. I need an opinion on this Ike
I believe this is a Peg Leg 1978 Ike. Any opinions?

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

Any evidence of any clashing...obverse or reverse?

Can you post pictures of obverse and reverse so we can check for clash marks?

Is this a 1978 or a 1978-D?

Just in case however check front and back.
On front:
Check the temple to see if there is a raised area there (talon head)
Check around the portrait for any raised areas that lead into the field. Brow, nose, lips, neck and bottom of neck between mint mark and initials are good places to look.
Check for an upside down "U" between "E" and neck by the IGWT motto.
On back:
Check moon for any lines from clashing with the head.
Check from wing to earth to EPU motto back to other wing for clash marks.
For helpful images check out the Ike Group website.
