Believe me, we know what you're going through. We experienced the same exact thing for many years. As bad as you feel
right now, the feeling you're going to get when you finally win it will be well worth the wait.
All of RSN can still remember being on cloud 9 for about six months straight after that beautiful October in 2004. To be honest, we're
probably still on that high.
And your World Series win will be even more special because you've waited even longer. Cub fans are great fans, just like RSN,
and your day will soon come.

Steve - It wasn't about "being due" - it was about how it's not that hard with 30 teams, for some teams to go 30 or 60 years without winning a World Series.

It was in response to this that "soon" could very well be a long, long time...like i stated, 30 years on the average all things being equal.
That said, the fans booing the Cubs last night was horrific. Same with the defeated attitude and lack of noise to support them even while winning on Wednesday. Very different than a Fenway playoff game.
