I've seen a 23 1C that peaceman had listed like this though I don't know how that one was submitted. There is a eds 1A in the heritage archives graded by ngc that does not say eds on the slab. Did you also notice the coin number has a V in front of it?

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
That one I had was under "mint error" and didn't show up as a vam... although it was an eds 23 1C..... It looks as though your coin does not qualify for a vam either in the registry although it's noted on the holder...

Agree. I think that that eds would be clear enough. I also sent in a eds whisker cheek, but I guess that was a late enough die state to get the full attribution

It does not qualify for the registry although when you look the cert number up, it shows the variety.
