I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

they do this for several varieties, including scarface, scar cheek, moustache (both morgan and peace), tail on o, etc. Basically all the really important stuff.

I've seen a 23 1C that peaceman had listed like this though I don't know how that one was submitted. There is a eds 1A in the heritage archives graded by ngc that does not say eds on the slab. Did you also notice the coin number has a V in front of it?

Well that would be nice if they'd have left off that "Minor Variety" at the top of the slab!

  • That one I had was under "mint error" and didn't show up as a vam... although it was an eds 23 1C..... It looks as though your coin does not qualify for a vam either in the registry although it's noted on the holder...

Agree. I think that that eds would be clear enough. I also sent in a eds whisker cheek, but I guess that was a late enough die state to get the full attribution

It does not qualify for the registry although when you look the cert number up, it shows the variety.
