Anyone aware of any photos or location of a NGC 1913 PR67 RD?

It is the same coin. There are several markers on both obverse and reverse that are the same on both images. Not a bad markup for a 2 week investment - from $5500 to $8500. The economy must be in an upturn.

It sold at the pre Long Beach auction in September, as Brian pointed out, for $5,500.

That's a nice looking red coin! Too bad PCGS would probably 66 or BB it in holder or raw. Still, $8500 for a potential PR66RD doesn't sound like too bad a deal.

I think that $8500 is about right just because there are so few full red examples. Maybe we need to stick "Statics Steve" on o research project to illustrate the scarcity of Red Mattes to all other BRN and R&B examples. Am I also correct that full Red Mattes are not necessarily the coin color of demand in this series?
