Wow, big win tonight for the Dodgers taking game 1 in Chicago. It's been many years since they have won a playoff game so I'm very excited to to see A Win.

sounds good to me except I think Boston should get the retribution for Manny giving up three months before the season ended.

Retribution for what? Not allowing him to assualt a 62 year old Red Sox employee? He would be on probation (and probably fired) if he did that at a "normal" job.

Come on Bosox Nation. Manny is gone and it seems like it worked out great for Boston and Mannny, so be happy.

I heard Manny wanted out of Boston because a few of the Bosox players kept making sexual advances to Manny and he said he didn't swing that way. lol

Dodgers win big again last night and are up 2 to 0 and heading for Dodger Stadium. Billingsley pitched very well and so did Zambrano, but the Dodgers did everything from bunts, hit and runs, hit the ball hard in the infield, to home runs...They caused the Cubs defense to play off guard and have to force some plays which ended up as errors and extra runs. Not to mention the Dodgers at bats...the hitters were being very patient and seeing lots of pitches and just waiting for pitches to handle. Kind of reminded me of the Yankees when they were winning their first of 4 World Series.

Lastly, the big lead allowed Torre to get Saito into the game to see if he was ready and he was not....The hitters were jumping on every one of his pitches. To me that was big as I would think Torre will stay with Broxton in the closing situations.

I hope the Dodgers can win at least one more in LA, cause they do NOT want to go back to Chicago.
