NPB alert response.

Below is a response I got from a NPB. The buyer has left feedback 5 times in last 3 days including today. My auction ended on 9/21. His one feedback as a seller was for a 1952 Topps Willie Mays reprint BUT it did not say "REPRINT" on the back. Yes it really says that in auction. Here is the message I received:

"I am responding on behaf of my husband he has been a bad car accident and is in the hospital, he will
be out for the next 3 weeks, he asked me to send an email to all his bids and ask kindly to mutually
withdraw the transaction so you may receive a full refund, I sincerely hope you understand and he
would like to do business with you in teh future, if you see his feedback, it is excellent, thanks"

If the lie is as obvious as it seems, then I will probable get a neg over a $6 auction. If the lie isn't really a lie, then I am an A-hole.

About 10 Joe Montana singles from his Chiefs days.

EDIT to add, I know I risk this selling so many $3-10 auctions but these auctions are stuff from the garage sale purchase that I am just trying to get rid of.

lsu: I'm sorry, but I would like to mutually cancel this transaction. See, while I was out of town on business, my employer let me go. While I was gone, my son had a sex change and decided the best way to heal up was to log into my eBay account and bid on Joe Montana cards. After s/he bid, s/he got up and discovered s/he had sat on the cat, suffocating it. That cat was like a brother to me. When my son/daughter told me, I was so distraught that I swerved off the road and crashed into a light pole. Now I'm in the hospital and can only move my middle finger. The only thing I can do besides telling my son/daughter how I feel is to type this message to you... slowly.

    I hope you'll understand.

I'm going to give you a negative anyway, because I'm a republicrat and feel you should've shipped express mail before I made payment.
Nolan Ryan & Edgar Martinez are my favorite players...

It is not always easy, but it is worth the effort to build larger lots
    of "related items."

    Sometimes, even "semi-related" items fly.

Teams. Playing Positions. etc. ANYTHING to get the gross-sale price
into the range that "more responsible" folks are likely to spend.

MANY folks think nothing of going NPB on a few-buck item. The same
folks would not do it on an expensive item, OR they would not bid
    in the first place.

    ................

A review of ALL sales by the sellers here should show the following:

If you sell an item for $100.00 and deliver it promptly and as advertised,
you are not likley to get a NEG.

    ..............

As a generalization, folks with money are a bit less psychotic and/or tend
not to act out in ways that would make their psychosis public.

Folks Who Bite Get Bitten. Folks Who Don't Bite Get Eaten.

Only thought it was $6 and 10 cards. It was less than $5 and 8 cards.

    Awesome Montana lot
