My new Morgans.... watcha think?

I picked up these 4 Morgans along with some other assorted silver coins yesterday and I was curious what everybody thinks about grade/values.

Coin 1 - The guy I bought these from swears that this coin is toned... it looks painted to me! The color is a matte purplish brown:






Coin 2 - This coin is blast white, which doesn't show in the photos as well. Cleaned?






Coin 3 - This one has beautiful rainbow toning... the obverse has a little more puple on the bottom than shown, and the reverse is yellowish orange in the middle.

I'm sure it's a practice and time thing, but any pointers on telling how the coins could have been cleaned and re-toned?

I'm assuming that if that is the case they would not make it into plastic.

I was also curious, because it almost looks like on coin 4 someone tried to clean the toning off.

Number 4 looks nice. I'm sure it probably looks better in hand.

Yeah all of the coins look better in hand, but I'm getting better with my photo skills. If you think these are bad, you should've seen my first attempt at taking coin pics!

Number 4 is the nicest of the group.

Cleaned and retoned can be tough to tell...you just need to look at a lot of silver coins and see how natural toning looks.

I grade them about $18-$20 each.

You might want to ajdust thr white balance on your camera, if you can.

#1, #2, #3 all look cleaned to me.....I am not sure the toning on #3 is due to the toning as it looks so splotchy it looks AT to me. #4 looks like legitimate toning and I suspect it might holder if the luster is present.....
