Ripken FF ..

WTF.. there is no chance of getting (did not say 'pulling'.... for that term is ghey. but some of you like that) an actual FF or varient Billy card from any left unopened 1989 fleer boxes out there. There is just no way.

I want to actually get one from a pack. I want to then defoul it with my love.

  • Good Luck with that.

  • Master FF.. (a compliment.. i bow to your FF collection)

have seen posts on this board before.. are there any 1989 cases or boxes from any of the bbce/legit dealers out there that would actually a chance of getting (note: did not say "pulling", cuz that is ghey and don;t want to defoul card coolness) a legit FF ??)

I would NEVER actually treat an FF or variant FF card non virgin like. I promise. I actually want to frame a set of them like the Cambells Campbells Cambels Cambells Soup poster from Warhol.

I only got 2 of the actual FF cards.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but yes it's absolutely possible. I personally, and several others on this board, have opened FF's from packs recently.
  • If you actually read some of the threads on this board instead of having babies with them, you would see that I pulled 5 FF cards from 4 1/2 boxes 3 weeks ago. One of them is now in a PSA 10 holder and one in a 9. The other 4 are now part of complete sets. Last week I pulled 4 black scribble variations from a 3-box cello case and only opened 2 boxes.

Carry on with your incoherent thoughts.
  • can i buy the FF cards from you ?? (no i did not actually read the posts)

ungraded, would give you 4 bucks each..

the psa 10 which you got three weeks ago and is now graded psa 10 after you must have paid the expedited price, I'll give you 20 bucks for it.

hockey does suck.. not really even a sport.. skatin' round like little spoiled girls spattin' at each un such. pretty much compares to WWF.

Average of last 5 sold on eBay is around $55. Total cost of grading with return shipping is less than $7/card for 30 more days.

  • $20 is ghey (it is correctly spelled gay, and is very derrogatory). I will offer $40 for the psa10 FF.
  • skilow if you go to ebay and type in "1989 fleer ripken FF psa" in the search area, you will see two of mine.
  • I want the FF bat.

That would be the coolest thing that could exist in a collection. The actual bat.

I want the FF bat that was posed for this card.

  • ohhhhhhhhhh oooooooooohhhhhhhh man.. just think how cool that if the FF bat was spliced up for cards.. holy guacamole batlady...

getting the card that had the 'ff' on it..

that would be it.. that would be the end.. the almighty card. the holt grail.

A Card, a Billy Ripken 2009 Fleer "Remember the Coolness" FF Bat Card 1 of 1.

    ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
  • Not exactly on topic for this thread (no real loss there) but did anybody else see the Billy Ripken bit they did last night with Cal Ripken where they used the FF card as the graphic in the background? The profanity was scribbled out on that version. The best part was at the end where Cal asked "What does it say on the knob of that bat?" Too funny that Cal would make a FF reference on the Cubs-Dodgers postgame show.

    I agree 100%

Sadly it would be a redemption and after I would pay $5,000 for it...they would say it's not available and send me a Bo Knows autographed card.

Kinda obvious, but yes I have. Even a picture of it would be a huge compliment to my collection. Maybe someday... It's also included in our family prayers before we go to bed. "...and please look over the FF bat.." lol

There is no easy answer on where the bat is. (If you were serious) The only way you could find it is thru Bill or the team. That's the 1st place I'd start.

I really think Bill has it. My buddy asked him and he smirked. Maybe because he has been asked a million times or ..... I know if I didn't have it, I would shrug my shoulders, not smirk. Maybe I'm just wishing. I think if Bill does have it he might "bring it out" later in life because to do so now...He works with kids in baseball. To bring up the whole cuss word thing would not be positive for his current activities. IMO

@craig44 You'd usually see a bottle of Michelob Ultra Light right before the grill was lit or the pool was used as a dunking station.
