Did I just receive a 1969-S DDO 1c in my change?

NO, I'm not that lucky. But there is some wicked cool strike doubling going on with the Date and Mintmark.

    No you did not.

The Mint Mark is not doubled on an original coin since these were added to the die after it was created.

That and the fact that you are looking at strike doubling which is common on these coins.

BTW, the cents made in SF during 1969 are of the worst possibly quality I have ever seen!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

So many 69-S cents are strike doubled, I'm surprised they aren't a bigger bane to B&M dealers' existence, like magnetic copper 1943 cents.

Which dino-lite microscope are you guys using? I looked it up online to maybe purchase one but there are lots of different models and prices.

Could you get away with the "Standard" version? Is the stand a good investment?

I think you guys are taking this much more seriously than it was supposed to be.

It was a joke and I know that a REAL 69-S DDO has doubling on everything like the '55 DDO.
