Color (ACCURATE COLOR) is pretty tough, for me.
Regardless if using OTT or Reveal or clear setups!
I'm really just a Novice to digital photography!
The name is LEE!
I DID! Ooops!
And it shows!
PM me your phone #. This thing is a BEAST to photograph! I've taken over 50 pix and STILL have yet
to figure out HOW to get the lights ON the coin's surfaces without having to get into newly found contortions.
There has GOT to be a better, easier way! HELP!!
OUT the slab isn't so tough but IN the slab is a Beach!!
Working on fresh images!

the seller who, BTW, is a very new member here! I copied these as the buyer to compare
what was viewed publicly to what I would soon have in hand.
It is apparently a PCGS certified coin and the colors are EXACTLY as many I have sitting in my Dansco
and also as shown on this Morgan which also was toned by sitting in an album for a very long time!
The seller did a great job of presenting the coin and although the pix may seem saturated, I think
they are not because I obtained that very same look (which I will later show) by using the AUTO Flash!
BTW, here is a quickly taken shot of the Morgan inside a new Air-Tite! NOTE - the same colors! This Morgan is very
richly toned and if I take it out the Air-Tite the colors would indeed become a lot more vivid, particularly if I use the
AUTO Flash!

And a semi-close up with the coin in hand, turned slightly toward the inexpensive gooseneck type lamp (1of 2-3) using 40W Clears.
Lee - you're The King! Thanks for trying your Luck!

I have a 1957 quarter with similar toning....wonder what was in the metal that year!!!
The obverse is white!!!
1 of 5 to hit that mark!

<< <i>Its hard to go by those pop reports Pitt. I know Shane had at least one that graded 67 from NGC, it was pulled from a mint set with similar toning. He might have had others grade 67, but I know for sure there was one and many 66s. Anyways, its a beauty! >>
Pitt? Am I Pitt now?
Oh well!
I'm not implying that there are only 5 out there simply stating that PCGS has only graded 5 at that level. Regardless of what is said, being in an NGC slab usually costs 1 point and I do recall Shane's 57 MS67. I believe that was the only one.
The colors are terrific and thats one expensive slug of silver that Boom has.
BTW, these things are not cheap to grade. Each one is a minimum of $38 each which, I imagine, keeps a lot of them out of PCGS slabs. I've got 28 of them that could use a protective sheath but I just cannot afford it.
