I've never collected any yet, but I've always had an interest in the old World Series phantom tickets...there have been some beauties on eBay over the years.
Yeah, I have plenty Giants' tickets from years past. Including my favorite which is a half-burned phantom WS ticket that I found on the street. That's anger/passion.
Many years ago at a small show in Houston, I remember seeing a guy selling some Astros and Oilers playoff tickets for games that never happened.
Being a long suffering fan of both teams, I thought it was kind of a sick way to try to make a buck. Why would a true fan want to pay money for a constant reminder of their team's failures?

I bought some Phillies 1964 World Series tickets off ebay, and tore them like they would at the gate, so i pretend that they were from the game.
<< <i>Such as METS playoff tickets for this year? >>
The only reason I still have and not torched this years (insert Fav F word here)____________ Mets postsean tickets is that they are the last tickets printed for an event or phantom event at Shea.

Phillies won the 1964 World Series - Those history books are wrong stating that they didn't get in.
