Is this a 1887 VAM-9?

Received this 1887 from Teletrade today in a nice 2nd Gen Holder.

The date has some doubling on it and I suspect that its a VAM-9 but VamWorld doesn;t have any pictures for this old man to look at.

Can anybody validate this as a VAM-9? The description says "strongly doubled across bottom" but that 8 does not appear "strongly doubled"!

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    11 according to the VamWorld site.

    I just have difficulty in seeing that 7 under the denticles!
