Lovely '14-D Lincoln on ebay...the right venue to sell?

Coins like this make my heart beat fast. I would love to own it. But, alas, it is way over my head. And I don't think it will sell on ebay.
Q: If you were the seller would you use ebay for a coin like this? Seems to me a high end auction house would more likely draw the buyers with deep pockets. (And, FWIW, I have bought from this seller and wouldn't hesitate to buy more.)

I was just wondering if you thought ebay is the best place to sell a $30k coin.
Let's say that 500 folks get to see it but no one buys it on ebay and the auction expires.
Then, someone who saw it didn't sell calls him up and makes him an acceptable offer. Pretty cheap advertising vs going show to show, right?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Go to Early United States Coins - to order the New "Early United States Half Dollar Vol. 1 / 1794-1807" book or the 1st new Bust Quarter book!
It looks better than my 64RD, I have no doubt it will hold that grade and is a good value.
Buy it....far better than STOCKS

Ira's been selling coins at this level on Ebay for years. I wouldn't doubt for a moment that he knows exactly what he's doing.
My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.
<< <i>NICE COIN !!! No bids yet ??? >>
Great to see quality coins on the bay....we may return there to buy nice coins
But a well-respected seller like Ira selling one in PCGS plastic -- won't be a problem.

Yeah, it's only $28K. I've lost more than that in my retirement portfolio in the last two months.
