so who will Minaya pursue this offseason? CC, Tex, Sheets, Burnett?

or will he figure out the last two years were not a fluke and get some people who can hold a lead?

And the Mets just extended Minaya's contract for four more years, eh?

I have a great idea. When Shea gets demolished. Get the entire bullpen, down to Billy Wagner and tie them all together by their shoelaces. Leave them on the pitchers mound and tell them they have 2 minutes to get out of the stadium before it lands on their heads. I'm sure they would blow that opportunity as well.


The Mets are gonna need another quality starter. CC sounds good to me and given Minaya's "preference" for latin players he most likely will be the best choice.

The bullpen will need a few guys to step up and actually be dependable setup guys. Whether it will be somebody already on the staff that does a 360 or a free agent.

We will also need a new closer. Wagner won't be back. The guy is tough and I have no doubt he will come back after the surgery. It won't be for the Mets though.
