Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

Maybe things do turn on a dime. I heard first hand reports from 2 major players over the weekend who said the market took a 10-30% jolt recently. Off-quality material leaning towards the higher end of that range. But with this bail out thing looming, things can turn either way on a dime depending on the herd's mood.

Yes the financial world is being turned upside down. Shorting resumes with a fury on October 2nd. Thats just like putting MORE nails on the coffin lid. Just plain stupid.

I just closed two accounts with Wachovia.

I'm just not in the mood to trust anyone or anything at this point. QDB said coins done well during the Great Depression...maybe we will get a chance to see if they do good during the Great Depression II. The Legend report seems to bear this out. What they said about Wall street money coming into coins is something I predicted last year. The repeal of the 1934 shortsale uptick rule was the biggest mistake EVER made.

    God help us all.
