To answer RYK's recent question: the Whitman Encyclopedia of Colonial and Early American Coins will debut in December.

Wow, that's pretty inexpensive. I will have to give some of those away on the forum, as holiday gifts, etc.

Does anyone have any idea of the size of the book, or what/whose coins will be used as illustrations? The Colonial period of coinage is one that I am woefully under-educated about, and the book seems to be in my price range. Thanks for the heads-up, Dentuck.
