Look, Sabathia should get some MVP votes. I don't care if it was less than half a season. 11-2 with a 1.65 ERA and completely carrying your team toward the playoffs for 2 1/2 months is one of the most amazing things I've seen in baseball.

Most definitely. Without Sabathia we would be nowhere near where we are.

I gotta agree, the value of his 8 & 9 inning efforts should not go unoticed. He has been a MONSTER since joining the B Crew.

He and Manny will both be getting some MVP votes.

IMO the NL MVP is going to be close, we may have Co-MVPs like we did in 79.

Congrats to the Brewers and their fans (they must have some, right?) - but I feel awful for the Mets and their fans going out like that 2 years in a row.

What is incredible is that this was CC's 3rd start on only 3 days rest. I guess its not so incredible since that was common years ago? Anyway, Brewers are going to get EVERYTHING they can out of him cuz they know they cant afford him for next season. In fact, by the time its over, they may ruin his arm! LOL

Actually, CC told his agent to stop calling the Brewers to complain about the number of innings they're putting on his arm. He said that every time they will let him throw the ball, he will throw the ball. THAT is a team player. It's a shame they probably can't afford him after this season!

No, really I do. Mets fans deserve better than what they have gotten from their team the last three seasons (I'm including 2006 when they lost to the weaker Cardinals).
