Cincy Show

I was at the show Friday for a short period of time. I thought traffice was a little better than anticipated - anyone talk to some dealers or have any opinion? I only had time to go to my normal copper guys and they appeared to be doing well from a numbers standpoint.

The parking lot appeared fuller than normal to me as well. I normally go on Saturday which is likely slower.

  • I go to the show every year and I usually go on Friday but this year I went Friday and Saturday. You are right about Friday being more busy but Sat. still was not bad. Someone got sick and had to leave in a strechter,I don't know how he ended up. I thought prices were a little on the high side for a lot of coins. Silver was not to be found for under 11 times face. I stopped and talked to Jim McGuigan for several minutes and told him right off the bat that he had fantastic coins but they were to expensive for me. It did not change his attitude in the least and he was very nice and laid back. He told me the central states show was going to be in cincy next spring. Does anyone know what happened to "Dustin Massey" who use to set up thier? I thought it was a fairly good show although it seems to get just a tiny bit littlier every year just like the Indy show.
  • If I knew it was going on, I definitely would have gone.
