I'm not entirely sure. I couldn't find a published date anywhere inside, but the last coin date they list is 1886 as far as I can find. I'd guess early to mid 1890's.
Funny how they say that Trade dollars are worth $1.10 now instead of the .80 to .85 cents people are usually happy to get. Imagine using money for less than face value, and silver at that. I heard that Trade dollars were unpopular at the time, but paying people to take them?
