Opinion on grade & VAM question, I'm in need of some learning

I'm always on the lookout for the VAM variety I discovered, to date I've only found one on the bay. The last pic shows a close up of the 2nd L in dollar which looks to me
to be some sort of strike through.

My discovery coin is a 57 & 57A, I still don't understand how that works, 2 numbers 1 coin.
Can this coin be a VAM 57, 57A and 57B because of the strike through ?

To me the coin looks better then a 64, your thoughts??

The two numbers indicate the assumption that VAM 57 exists without the die breaks. With the die breaks, the coin is VAM 57A. While the VAM 57 may never be reported, the entry is a placeholder describing only the features of the die imparted by the hubbing processes. Striking errors don't count as die varieties, so the strike through would not make this coin VAM 57B.

Your coin looks exceptional as an MS64, and I wouldn't disagree at all if it was in a 65 holder.
