Are eBay listings looking a little funny to anyone else?

I've been opting out of the new search test on a daily basis, but this evening I first hit eBay through a bookmark to an individual auction rather than one of the search pages. The listing had a very different look, hard to describe without a screencap but more in keeping with the look of the new search pages. I expected the pages to go back to "normal" once I opted out but they're not reverting back to the old format. Is eBay finally starting to ram this new format down our throats, or do I just have an extra cookie to delete?

No idea, but the new look is not very settling with me. I hate it like everything else eBay is doing these days.
  • I had this problem the other morning, and it resolved itsself. Never knew why, but thank god it wasn't permanent

Just to follow up on my initial post, closing and restarting the browser worked to reset the format. I certainly hope that's not where they end up, the important information in the listing (closing time, # bidders, etc) was hard to read in favor of a large sidebar with recently viewed items and "you might also like these!" auction recommendations.

I would imagine eventually they'll ram it.

Trust eBay- if it ain't broke, they're gonna fix it.

Get used to it, learn to navigate it, it is here to stay. Only advantage I find to it is I can see larger image with click of a mouse rather than scrolling down to the larger image. Hate having to click a separte tab to get shipping and payment info. I think once i learn the new locations of the important things on the page it won't be so bad. I don't mind change, I just mind constant change.
