1975 Topps Mini Fred Lynn rookie - The grade is in - SCAN ADDED

I started a thread a few months ago about ripping some 1975 Mini wax packs, but it kinda got derailed so I made this new one. I finally got around to sending this card in to PSA, and the grade is back. Some of the guys in the other thread (myself included) thought the card was an 8 or an 8.5, but PSA thought otherwise. image I will scan it in the holder once it is in hand.

    Very nice card regardless of grade. Congratulations on the 9.

    And I'll be darn if Poquette wasn't sporting a New Era 59Fifty 30+ years ago. Who knew?

    Congrats Nick. I assume it's a flip card for you? I didn't think the T/B centering would allow a 9, but good for you anyway. Hope you pay for another rip with it!

    Nice going, Nick!! Don't recall what I guessed the grade would be when you first scanned this card, but it certainly looks better than an 8. The slight tilt slightly detracts from the eye appeal or this would be a straight 9 all day long, IMO. Congrats!!


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    What's VCP on that thing? I'd have to guess between $250/$350...just a shot in the dark.

    We wont know for over a week because if there were any recent buy it nows, they take that long to get entered into the grid.

    As an avid 75 mini collector, I'd gladly pay a premium for Nicks' PSA 9 than one from the barbershop...

    As an avid 75 mini collector, I'd gladly pay a premium for Nicks' PSA 9 than one from the barbershop...

    I'm starting to seriously believe this. I'm seeing a ton of suspect cards. And I mean a ton of cards from all years. Honestly, and I'm not joking, something is going on and it actually worries me about the hobby. Straight up; PSA better start cleaning this crap up.

    With regard to the comment below - the difference is, Nick's is legit while the others are likely "mini minis".

    Thanks for the 2nd scan Nick. We weren't sure what the card looked like from the first scan, but now that it's slabbed we can see it better.
